<p>Alpha-acylated aryl-hydrazines, esp. the cpd. of formula (I) are made ny reaction of a hydrazine deriv. of formula (II) with an aromatic acid halide (III) in a chlorinated solvent such as dichloromethane, in presence of an HCl acceptor, e.g. a tert. amine, under a nitrogen atmos. and at -5 to -10 deg. C. The prod. is sepd. and purified by conventional means, as the corresp. hydrochloride.</p> |
