PURPOSE:To poll all terminals within an irreducible necessary time by dividing a terminal number table into a high-order digit terminal number and a low-order digit terminal number field, and grouping terminal numbers by the high-order digits for polling. CONSTITUTION:The table 4' wherein terminal numbers are divided into high- order digits and low-order digits is set up; and the high-order digits are sent out to respective terminals and terminals having the high-order digits is informed that they expected to be polled at a time. Then, low-order digits of the respective terminals having the sent high-order digits are sent out successively and the individual terminals are polled to collect data. Thus, the terminals are polled by using only the low-order digit bits of the terminal numbers. |
