PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a high quality recording image by properly uniformizing the adhesion amount of ink at every picture element of the recording image, by recording a plurality of adjacent picture elements by primary color inks different to each other. CONSTITUTION:In a color image recording system for performing the recording of a color image by the gathering of picture elements formed from a plurality of primary color inks, for example, the color mixture region shown by oblique lines of red R and green G continuing over two or more of picture elements in a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction is expressed by alternately recording dots of Y and M in the case of red and dots of Y and C in the case of green on adjacent picture elements in both directions. By this method, the ratio of the picture elements of a color mixture doubly recording dots by different primary color inks occupying all picture elements becomes markedly small and the adhesion amount of ink at every picture element is prevented from being excessive and becomes uniform and, therefore, the image projected through a film is low in density difference generated from color difference at every picture element and a high quality image can be obtained. |
