PURPOSE:To keep the photodetecting levels of each node within an optimum range respectively and at the same time to change easily the number, arrangement, etc. of nodes, by informing the corresponding photodetecting level to the corresponding node through a monitor node that received the information on the photodetecting levels from each node and controlling the level to be sent by the node. CONSTITUTION:Terminal nodes 2-4 can detect reception levels and also control the transmission levels. In case the level received by a node 3 is outside a prescribed range, the node 3 gives the information on the photodetecting level to a monitor node 1. The node 1 retrieves a node 2 sent to the node 3 through a table, etc. and delivers the information on the corresponding photodetecting level. Thus the node 2 transmits an optical signal according to the informed level. Thus the photodetecting levels received by nodes 2-4 or the node 1 can be kept within a prescribed range. |
