PURPOSE:To facilitate the expansion and alteration of system configuration by addressing each processor of a multiprocessor system and giving functions of a processor and functions of an input/output processor. CONSTITUTION:In the information processor of a multiprocessor system including processors of different architecture, plural processors MPU/IOP-112-MPU/ IOP-N15 of different architecture are made to function as input/output processors in the idle state, and at the same time, processor switching functions are given to a bus arbiter 11. Thus, addition of any processor card to the system becomes easy, and a system laways compatible from the high order can be constituted. |
