PURPOSE:To obtain a stable voltage regulator by controlling an astabilized power supply after comparing the output of the astabilized power supply with the reference voltage produced based on the difference of the threshold voltages corresponding to the Fermi level difference between the gate electrodes of two insulated gate type field effect transistors. CONSTITUTION:A pair of MOS transistors constituting a differential amplifier have threshold voltages Vth1 and Vth2 according to the ion implanting amount, the amount of impurities doped into a gate insulated film and the thickness of said insulated film. The output level changes centering on V1-V2=Vth1-Vth2, where V1 and V2 mean the input voltages of reverse inputs T1 and T2 respectively. Then the output is connected to a reverse input terminal with the non- reverse input grounded. Thus the reference voltage equal to the difference of both threshold voltages is obtained at an output ''out''. Then the output of this reference voltage generating circuit is compared with the voltage division value obtained from resistances R13 and R14 of stabilized output. In this case, the gate voltage of a control element T20 is controlled to obtain the coincidence of said comparison. Thus the output voltage is stabilized. |
