REFERENCE GENERATOR USING CAPACITOR, AUDIO APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A reference generator using a capacitor, an optical receiver and an optical communication device using the same are provided to remove a source follower and a resistor inducing static power and generate reference voltage by using the capacitor, thereby increasing sensitivity. The first amplifier(opamp1) has a plus input terminal connected to input voltage. The first amplifier amplifies voltage between the plus input terminal and a minus inter terminal. The first diode(diode1) is inversely connected to an output terminal of the first amplifier. The first diode has an anode terminal connected to the minus input terminal of the first amplifier, so that the first diode is reverse biased if the voltage applied to the plus input terminal is increased. The first capacitor(C1) is connected between the anode terminal of the first diode and the plus input terminal of the first amplifier. The second capacitor(C2) is connected between the anode terminal of the first diode and the plus input terminal of the first amplifier. The second capacitor(C2) is connected between the anode terminal of the first diode and the ground. A hold circuit detects the maximum voltage of the anode terminal, and outputs the voltage corresponding to the maximum voltage as a reference voltage.
