PURPOSE:To make the turnabout of an automobile at a narrow road or the like performable so easily, by installing a rotatable turntable cradle in a central part at the lower part of the automobile and also installing a groundable stabilizer plate in the lower part of this cradle free of lifting motion by means of a hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A turntable 1, installing a worm wheel 2 projectingly along the circumference of a circle, is locked to a central part at the lower part of an automobile, and a turntable cradle 10 is supported on a lower part of the turntable 1 free of relative rotation via a bearing 4. A worm gear 3 to be rotated by operation of a motor 9 is supported on the turntable cradle 10 through bearings and engaged with the worm wheel 3, while a hydraulic cylinder 5 is installed in the center of the cradle 10 in a vertical direction, and a stabilizer plate 7 is attached to the lower end of a piston rod 6. With this constitution aforesaid, when the automobile is turned about in a state of being stopped, first of all, the hydraulic cylinder 5 is moved in expansion and, after the automobile is floated off the ground, the motor 9 is operated, causing the turntable 1, namely, the automobile to be turned about as far as the specified angle. |
