PURPOSE:To further simplify the attachment of a masking jig, by forming the jig from a string part made of an elastic material for forming a parting line and the film part for covering a non-painting part and providing a film material capable of leaking the sticky agent received in a recessed part by the pressing force to the string part. CONSTITUTION:A string part 2 and a film part 3 are secured by an adhesive or by fusion bonding and the string part 2 is preliminarily crushed by the pressing force of a finger or crushed in a state contacted with an article W to be painted to destruct the film material 8 for covering the sticky agent received in the recessed part 5 of the string part 2. By this operation, the sticky agent 6 is flowed out and the string part 2 can be stuck to the region close to the part C to be painted in a non-painting part M and the parting line of a paint is formed.
