PURPOSE:To improve the anti-loosening effect by forming the loosening stopper with an impeller nut loosening stopper seat metal fixed at the front side of impeller and an impeller nut provided on the pump spindle while pressure contacting against the front face of said seat metal. CONSTITUTION:A loosening stopper seat metal 26 for impeller nut is made of special corrosion-resistant alloy having higher hardness than the synthetic resin impeller nut 25 while provided with rotation stopping section for transmitting the rotary force of spindle 6 and engaged with the spindle 6 to rotate integrally. The seat metal 26 is provided with inclined faces in the tightening direction (a) of nut 25 at the pressure contacting face with the impeller nut 25 and radial projections 26b having engaging faces 26c. In front of the impeller 18, the rotation stopping section of the seat metal 26 is fixed to the rotation stopping section 6a of the spindle 6 and upon tightening of the impeller 25, the projections 26b will bite into the pressure contacting face of nut 25 to increase the binding force and since the impeller nut 25 will never rotate reversely on the stopping face 26c, anti-loosening effect of impeller nut 25 is increased.
