The brake has a brake caliper (1) that is attached at a stationary brake carrier, where the brake caliper includes a brake disk (3), at which brake pads (2) are pressed on both sides during braking. A brake carrier clamp (10) is attached to the brake pads or a base of a lining groove (9) and includes a projection (11), which protrudes into the lining groove. The projection corresponds with a recess at an outer edge of the brake pads, where the outer edge of the brake pads faces a convex outer edge.
