PURPOSE:To prevent sintered ore from generating cracks and to prevent the deterioration and the fluctuation of disintegrative property due to low-temp. reduction in the inside of a blast furnace by cooling a transport belt of the sintered ore up to its heat-resistant temp. and preventing water from adhering to the sintered ore in case of manufacturing the sintered ore for the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:When high-temp. sintered ore 7 which has been already sintered is discharged from a sintering apparatus and allowed to fall on a transport belt, the temp. of the sintered ore is measured. When the measured temp. is >=130 deg.C and the transport belt 2 for the sintered ore reaches the lower part, cooling water 6 is injected from the nozzles 8 of a sprinkling pipe 5 to cool it and the water adhering to the belt 2 is removed with the drip rollers 9, 10. Since water does not adhere to the high-temp. sintered ore 7 allowed to fall on the belt 1 when the belt is transferred as the upper-part belt 1, the generation of crack can be prevented and the stable sintered ore capable of preventing the deterioration and the fluctuation of disintegrative property due to low-temp. reduction is obtained in case of being charged to the inside of a blast furnace.
