PURPOSE:To reduce the operating labor of a subscriber returned to home by storing the existence of recording operation during the setting of an automatic answering telephone set mode by a switch, and at the release of the automatic answering telephone set mode, controlling a recording/reproducing device on the basis of the stored contents. CONSTITUTION:When incoming is detected before the opening of a switch SW1, a control circuit 11 actuates an A relay 17. Consequently, connection to an office line terminal L is turned from the telephone set TEL side to an automatic answering system by a contact (a) through a line transformer 16. Then, the control circuit 11 turns on an analog switch 18, makes a deck 13 execute reproducing operation and sends an answering message from the head 19 to an amplifier 20. Then, the circuit 11 turns on an analog switch 22, makes a deck 14 executed recording operation, and after the end of recording, restores the A relay 17, opens the office line and writes ''1'' in a register R of the circuit 11. After opening the switch SW1, the circuit 11 reads out the contents of the register R, detects the loading of a matter message recording tape by a detector 25 and rewinds the tape on the deck 14 up to the starting end. |
