<p>The present invention relates to 8-(lH-tetrazol-5-yl)-llH-pyrido¢2,l-b!quinazolin-ll-ones having the following structure: < IMG > I wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen, loweralkyl, halogen, hydroxy, or R1 and R2 are each loweralkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, with the proviso that when one of R1 or R2 is loweralkoxy the other may not be hydrogen, and R1 and R2 together form methylenedioxy; R3 is carboxamido, cyano or 5-tetrazolyl groupings and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts of acids and bases thereof. These compounds exhibit anti-allergic properties and are useful as anti-asthmatic agents.</p> |
