PURPOSE:To simplify the replacement of biologically active substance by fixing a working electrode and an opposed electrode on internal surfaces of two bases facing each other while the working electrode side base is made free to mount to or remove from the opposed electrode side base. CONSTITUTION:An opposed electrode 6 made of a conductive material such as platinum is provided in a cylindrical protruded part 5 of a base 1 while a working electrode 8 with a biologically active substance immobilized film fixed thereon is provided on a plated layer or the like which is made up of a plate body comprising a conductive material such as platinum at the tip of a cylindrical base 2. Then, after the insertion of a spacer 3 into the protruded part 5 of the base 1, the base 2 is inserted into the spacer 3 with the working electrode 8 turned downward and a screw 4b of a lid body 4 is put together with a thread 5b of the protruded part 5. Thus, both bases are assembled in such a manner as to keep the base 2 from slipping off while a path 9 is formed. This eliminates the need for exchange of the opposed electrode and the path making the apparatus economical while simplifying the exchanging operation. |
