PURPOSE:To achieve a light cooling mode as well as a light heating mode operations by providing the refrigerating cycle with a bypass cycle, and by providing an electric heater for heating which is variable in the calorific value. CONSTITUTION:Compressor 1, condenser 2, pressure reducing device such as capillary tube 3 and vaporizer 4 are sequentially connected to complete a refrigerating cycle. A bypass cycle 5 is disposed between the refrigerant delivery side tubing of the compressor 1 and the refrigerant inlet tubing of the condenser 2. Further, an outside fan 8 is disposed near to the condenser 2, and a variable speed room fan 9 is disposed near to the vaporizer 4. Still further, electric heaters for heating such as two electric heaters 11, 12 which are variable in the calorific value are disposed near to the vaporizer 4. By such constitution, a low cooling capacity is achieved by providing the refrigerating cycle with a bypass cycle 5 so that a light cooling mode operation may be possible by the low cooling capacity as well as the low speed operation of the room fan 9, and, a light heating mode operation may be possible by operating only one of the electric heaters combined with the low speed operation of the room fan. |
