PURPOSE:To obviate troubles such as occurrence of fine wrinkles, by locally heating a part of a mold from the feeding of a melted resin to the pressing thereof by a heat source in said mold, the part being in contact with the melted resin before the melted resin is pressed. CONSTITUTION:A path 5 for a high temperature heating medium is provided to heat locally a part 8 of a mold where a fed melted resin is in contact before it is pressed, and a top force 3 having an upper platen 1 is lowered to carry out the compression molding. Thus, a molded item that is free from cold marks throughout the surfaces thereof including the bottom surface and therefore has good appearances can be obtained.
