<p>PURPOSE:To produce the titled compound useful as an agricultural chemical, in high yield and quality, by reacting a phosphoric acid ester halide with isoxazole compound in an aqueous solvent, in the presence of a catalyst comprising a specific onium compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula VI is produced by reacting (A) the phosphoric acid ester halide of formula I (R<1> is lower alkyl; R<2> is lower alkoxy, phenyl, etc.; X is S or O; Hal is halogen) with (B) the isoxazole compound of formula II (R<3> is H, halogen, etc.; R<4> is H, alkyl, etc.; M is H, alkali metal, etc.) in an aqueous solvent in the presence of (C) a catalyst selected from the phosphonium compound of formula III (R<5>-R<8> are 1-20C alkyl, aryl, etc.; A is halogen, cyano, etc.), the ammonium compund of formula IV and the pyridinium compound of formula V (R<9> and R<10> are R<5>; m is 1-3). The reaction is carried out preferably at 20-70 deg.C keeping the pH of the reaction system to alkaline state.</p> |
