PURPOSE:To perform efficiently frame working and magnetic field equipping work of a small sized DC machine by a method wherein an ironing punch provided with an ironing blade having the same shape with the fixing base inside of the frame is pressed in the frame material in the axial direction, and the fixing base on the whole is worked at a time by plastic working. CONSTITUTION:An outside mold receiving jig 13 is piled up on an end face receiving jig 14, and the frame material 15 is inserted in the outside mold receiving jig 13. When the ironing punch 11 is pressed in from the upper end of the frame material 15, the external form of the frame material 15 is regulated by the outside mold receiving jig 13, the part thereof is made to flow downward by the ironing blade 12, and the fixing base is worked by plastic deformation. |
