PURPOSE:To improve operativity by selecting a next candidate for a homonym when a key which is used in common to input both a candidate selection of a homonym and a candidate selection of speech recognition is pressed alone. CONSTITUTION:A shift key 1 corresponds to a position O in a key matrix 4, and the next candidate selection key 3 corresponds to a position (X). When the key 3 is connected, only the position O is connected and Y2 reacts to only a scanning signal of X2. An encoding circuit 6, therefore, sends a next candidate selection code for a homonym to a bus 7. When the keys 1 and 2 are pressed at the same time, the positions O and (X) are connected; Y4 reacts to a scanning signal of X0 and Y2 reacts to a scanning signal of X2. Therefore, the circuit 6 sends out a next candidate selection code for speech recognition to the bus 7. Then, a next candidate selection for a homonym is made only with the candidate selection key 3, and further the Chinese character shift key 1 and speech shift key 2 are used in common to realize functions of a last candidate selection and a next candidate selection of speech recognition. |
