PURPOSE:To prevent the falling of a slider by only applying a bonding agent in a relatively excessive quantity so as to maintain the slider at a proper floating attitude at which the slider can exert an excellent working property, by forming grooves in the slider surface to which a sticking piece is sticked at the edge of the sticking piece when the piece is stuck in parallel with the piece. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 4 formed in a slider surface are positioned at the edge of a suspension sticking piece 2a when the piece 2a is stuck to the slider surface in parallel with the piece 2a. Since the grooves 4 collect a bonding agent 3 even though the bonding agent 3 is used in an excessive quantity in the sticking process of the piece 2a and prevent the bonding agent 3 from adhering to the connecting pieces 2b of the suspension sticking piece 2a, the floating attitude of a magnetic head slider device can be maintained properly. Moreover, since strict control of the applying quantity of the bonding agent 3 is not required if the bonding agent 3 is used in a slight excessive quantity, the working property can also be improved. |
