摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance in-site flaw detection workability by providing the dimensions of various reference test pieces, in forming a test piece for ultrasonic flaw detection from a rolled steel material for a welding structure, by forming the shape, thickness and hole of the test piece in a specific dimension. CONSTITUTION:For example, a test piece L for adjustment is fabricated from a rolled steel material for a welding structure. The thickness between the first flat surface 7a and the second flat surface 7b of the test piece L is formed so as to be brought to 25mm. being the thickness of a standard test piece STB-A1. In the same way, the thickness between the third flat surface 7c and the seventh flat surface 7g is formed so as to be brought to 45.5mm. being the thickness of a standard test piece STB-A3(2). Flaw detection sensitivity adjusting holes 8a- 8c are formed so as to be same as the hole of a reference test piece RB-4. As mentioned above, the thickness of each of opposed sides is made equal to the NO. of each reference test piece. Because formed test pieces for adjustment have important dimensions and holes of the reference test pieces STB-A1, RB-4, NO.1-3, when a probe is adjusted by using a reference probe, adjustment is enabled if this test piece is used and this piece is suitable for in-site work.
