PURPOSE:To execute stable copying irrespective of paper size by providing plural heat roll setting temps., and gradually changing over these setting temps., and suppressing the temp. of the end of the heat roll. CONSTITUTION:The plural setting temps. of the heat roll are provided and when a copying quantity detector B detects the arrival at a prescribed value during copying, it changes over from the first setting temp. to the second lower setting temp. through a temp. controller C and a setting temp. changer D. The temp. of the end of the heat roll higher in temp. than the middle part can be suppressed to a hot offset temp. of lower by repeating the change-over of the setting temps., thus permitting stable copying to be executed irrespective of paper size. |
