The invention relates to an orthodontic device (10) that comprises a shell (16) to be placed in the intra-maxillary oral cavity of a subject, and a suction end piece (18) connected to the shell (16) and extending from the inner face of the front portion of the shell to a rear face of the shell, characterised in that said device is shaped so as to prevent the passage of a voluminous body though the teeth barrier or maxillary crest while ensuring the intra-maxillary position of the suction end piece in order to prevent any accidental swallowing thereof. |
