NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [X represents halogen atom; Y represents H or halogen atom; R represents alicyclic group, fused aromatic ring-containing alicyclic group, polycyclic aromatic group or formula II(n represents 2 or 3), which may contain some substituents]. EXAMPLE:N-(2,6-Difluorobenzoyl)-N'-(1-indanyl)urea. USE:An economical and safe insecticide and injurious insect expelling and controlling agent for agricultural use, having high insecticidal effect, and exhibiting sufficient effect even in a small amount of chemical with low toxicity and little influence on environment. PREPARATION:Benzoyl isocyanurates expressed by formula II and amines expressed by formula RNH2 or their salts (example; hydrochloride, etc.) are reacted in a solvent such as hexane at 0-120 deg.C for 5min-24hr ot obtain the compound expressed by formula I.
