A window made of prefabricated individual parts is proposed, which can in a simple manner be self-assembled by do-it-yourself enthusiasts. The frame parts are interconnected by means of sealing compound and screwed together in a concealed manner. Moreover, to ease assembly, there are provided between glass pane and window frame lip seals which are profiled in such a manner that additional puttying or sealing is not necessary.
