PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized output by altering intermittent oscillating period by a load, thereby reducing control power consumption. CONSTITUTION:Positive bias is always applied to transistors 17a, 17b at power source energizing time to be oscillated even if no bias power source is provided and connected in the state a transistor 22 is OFF. When the output voltage V1 becomes the prescribed value or higher soon, the transistor 22 is turned ON to interrupt the base currents of transistors 18a, 18b to stop oscillating. When the oscillation is stopped, the output voltage V1 decreases, the transistor 22 is again turned OFF, and oscillation is started. In this case, power is consumed at the load, resistors 20a, 20b, Zener diode 23, resistors 24, 25 and between the base and the emitter of the transistor 22. Since the large resistor can be selected since the gain of the circuit is increased to reduce the power consumption. |
