In a prop connection clamp for support section segments in the roadway support system, in particular in the arched gate-road support system in underground working, in which a clamp interacting with the support section forms one half of a swivel joint whose swivelling capacity on a joint pin oriented perpendicularly to the plane of the roadway support system can be utilised for the strut of a prop, which can be locked with its head in the other joint half, provision is made according to the invention for a ball-and-socket joint to be fitted into the swivel joint, the members of which ball-and-socket joint are formed in the joint halves and can be pivoted about a further axis, running perpendicularly to the axis of the joint pin, for arranging the prop in a skew position relative to the regulating level.
