ERROR CHECK DEVICE IN DATA TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain rational data transmission by providing a means for executing transmission error check by double hierarchy in the unit of blocks and packets to a transmitter of a reception station side to ensure the transmission error detection and quicken the recovery procedure. CONSTITUTION:A reception side computer 16 is provided with a transmission error check means 18 checking a transmission error in the duplicated hierearchy in the unit of blocks and packets. The error check means is provided with a block check means for checking a prescribed block condition at each block and for judging the generation of an error for the data in the unit of packets transmitted from the transmitter at the transmission station side, and when it is judged that an error exists as a result of the block check by the block check means, a means for checking the packet based on the number of times of the same packet retransmission requests provided in the data check means 18 checks the packet.
