The invention relates to a pneumatic jogger which can be used, for example, in shearing cutters of web-fed rotary printing machines, etc. and in which the reciprocating movement of the piston and thus of the jogger takes place by automatic control of constantly applied compressed air at the cylinder by means of a slide valve arranged so as to be axially movable in the piston. The use of external control devices, such as rotary slide valve, electromagnetic valve, etc. is thus unnecessary. The jogger according to the invention is suitable in particular for deliverers for sheets, etc. However, it can also be expediently used for holding the uppermost sheet of a stack, to be fed, of a sheet feeder against the front stop bars. <IMAGE>
