PURPOSE:To obtain a weight-lightened and miniaturized video synthesizer by making a half mirror and a video display screen positioned approximately on the same surface and synthesizing an image projected on the half mirror with that projected from backward. CONSTITUTION:A slide projector 4 selects automatically slide films whch show bodies lower from necks of models wearing various types of clothes and dresses, and projects them on a video screen 9. A half mirror 10 is provided on the upper part of the same surface of the screen 9. Pictures of faces projected on the half mirror 10 are synthesized with projected pictures of clothes, which can be viewed as one picture. When the slide projector 4 shifts a moving frame 3 vertically, said projector 4 changes a distance to the display screen 9, whereby a size of the projected picture can be changed.
