<p>PURPOSE:To unite a light pen and a stylus pen together and to facilitate operator's operation by providing a photodetection part and a coil on the top of a pen type holder and also providing a switch which is turned on when the tip part is pressed. CONSTITUTION:The photodetection part and switch similar to the light pen are provided at the top of an input pen 7 for a CRT display device, and the electromagnetic induction coil and switch (common to said switch) similar to the stylus pen are provided for a digitizer. Said switch is turned on when the input pen 7 is pressed against the CRT display device 2 or electromagnetic induction type tablet (digitizer) 5. The input pne 7 operates as the light pen on the CRT display device 2 and as the stylus pen on the digitizer 5, so there is no need to change the pens and there is an advantage in facilitating operator's operation.</p> |
