PURPOSE:To prepare a plastic lens having transparency and glossiness, by using quartz glass, to which polishing finish is applied, as a mold for preparing the plastic lens. CONSTITUTION:Molds 302, 402 each comprising quartz glass, which is monocrystalline and high in purity and has corrosion resistance and is good in a polishing finish property as compared with a metal, are assembled in holding parts 301, 401 for holding molds. An injected resin passes through a runner part (b) at a predetermined speed under high pressure to be injected in a product part (a). A plastic lens is molded between the aforementioned quartz glass molds 302, 402. Because these quartz glass molds can hold a polishing finish surface semi-permanently, they are made inexpensive. |
