摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve a higher heat efficiency in a furnace by controlling the level of atomization with respect to the flow rate of fuel. CONSTITUTION:The adjustment of the flow rate of fuel is done with a valve 8 and the flow rate thereof is read with a fuel flowmeter 11. An atomizing medium is adjusted with a valve 9 and displayed with a flowmeter 12. As the level of atomization is reduced, the particle size of the fuel increases and moreover, as the injection flow velocity of the fuel lowrs as long as the diameter of burner injection hole is the same, the formation of carbon-residual soot is promoted. The conduction of heat in the furnace increases with a higher radiation of flame to lower the temperature of combustion exhaust gas. For example, in an aluminum melting furnace, an upper two-way burning soaking pit or the like, since the retention time of the combustiin exhaust gas is very short and there is little problem about the temperature distribution, it would be better to elevate the conduction of heat in the furnace by reducing the level of atomization.
