PURPOSE:To obtain an oil-immersed electric apparatus enabled to discharge rapidly insulating oil at emergency time when a fire is generated by a method wherein an upper part discharge orifice to discharge insulating oil to the outside of an oil tank is provided to the oil tank at the upper part of the blockade type part of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:At a transformer apparatus 21, when a fire is generated, sluice valves 16, 20 and a suction valve 17 are opened wholly, and insulating oil 5 in an oil tank 2 is discharged in an oil accommodating tank 13. At this case, the insulating oil 5 at the upper part inside of the oil tank 2 is discharged directly from an upper part discharge orifice 18 without passing through oil gaps 8, 9 having large fluid resistance, and the whole insulating oil 5 in the oil tank 2 is discharged in a short time in cooperation with discharge of insulating oil 5 from an oil discharge piping 15. Insulating oil can be discharge from both of the lower part discharge orifice and the upper part discharge orifice like this, and at emergency time when a fire is generated, because insulating oil is discharged rapidly from the oil tank, the fire of the oil-immersed electric apparatus and the spread of the fire can be checked. |
