PREPARATION:A halogenoacetyl derivative shown by the formula II (Y is Cl or Br) is reacted with pyridine to give a pyridinium halide shown by the formula III, which is reacted with p-nitroso-N,N-dimethylaniline, to give a nitron derivative shown by the formula IV. It is then treated with an inorganic acid. |
