POSITION REGULATOR OF PLATE CYLINDER DRIVING GEAR IN ROTARY PRESS

摘要

PURPOSE:To simply and accurately control the position of an idle gear, by a method wherein the rotary amount of a gear support arm is controlled by calculation to the position where the idle gear is accurately engaged with the gear of a plate cylinder according to the diameter of the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The idle gear 26 engaged with a transmission gear is supported with the gear support arm 23 capable of being rotated around the shaft center of the transmission gear 21 and a signal is outputted from a detector 40 according to the rotation of the gear support arm 23. The gear support arm 23 is rotated by shifting a nut body 34 until the output signal from the set unit computing a value corresponding to the rotary amount of the gear support arm to the position where the idle gear is accurately engaged with a plate gear 13 according to the plate cylinder 12.
