PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of bevelling work in bevelling work system of such as a floppy disc and the like by performing heavy polishing through grinding wheel polishing device in the prestage process while performing light polishing through tape polishing device in the post stage process. CONSTITUTION:This bevelling work system employs rotary index system where six sets of holding devices are arranged with equi-interval on a turntable 50 to apply sequential bevelling onto the outer edge of work having planar machining face in multi-stage polishing process. Grinding wheel polishing devices 51, 52 provided with cylindrical grinding wheel having the polishing face of the circumference are arranged in the prestage polishing process M. While polishing tape devices 53, 54 where a rotary drum 40 is applied with a polishing tape 41 having the polishing face at the outside are arranged in the post stage polishing process N. While holding the work on the holding devices 26, spinning, rolling and energizing force in the direction of spin axis are applied to move the work sequentially between respective polishing process M, N to perform machining where the amount of rolling of work is selected freely. |
