1. An assembly for refractive index matching in Optical Computerized Tomographic scanning comprising:
a light source, a light detector, a transparent solid plastic block fabricated with a dosimeter cavity, wherein the shape of the said dosimeter cavity is selected from the set consisting of essentially a cylinder, essentially an inverted truncated cone, essentially an inverted cone with one convex face, and essentially identical to the dosimeter; an irradiated dosimeter inserted into said cavity; so that the interspace between the edge of said cavity and the edge of said dosimeter is between 0.5 and 5 mm; a mechanism to cause the rotation of the dosimeter within the dosimeter cavity; and a computer programmed to store data from said detector, and perform the reconstruction of said data to render a three-dimensional image representing the information contained within said irradiated dosimeter. |
