PURPOSE:To provide a structual body which floats on water and has an enough capacity of load carrying and a large deck area, by coupling together a plurality of structural members, each of which is a cylindrical member having an opening in the bottom. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of structural members, each of which is a cylindrical or cubic member 1 having an opening 2 in the bottom and an internal void, are coupled to each other to constitute a structural body which floats on water. Although the water enters into each structural member through the opening 2 in the bottom, a sufficient buoyancy is produced because air is enclosed in each structural member. Furthermore, a large deck area is provided on the top of the structural body.
