PURPOSE:To prevent a liquid type refrigerant from entering a condenser side accompanying the flow of refrigerant vapor from a water jacket and secure stable cooling performance by providing a weir midway in a vapor passage connecting said water jacket to said condenser. CONSTITUTION:A cooling liquid 5 which is filled into a water jacket 2 leaving a certain vacant space on the upper part, absorbs the heat of an engine and boils and evaporates while taking a vaporizing latent heat. The evaporated cooling liquid is introduced into a condenser 7 for heat exchanging through a vapor passage 6. Here, a weir 26 is provided midway in the vapor passage 6. The weir 26 is fixed to the bottom part 27 of the vapor passage 6, with a certain height from the bottom part 27, in a position close to the water jacket 2 and in a direction perpendicular to the vapor passage 6. Thereby, the cooling liquid 5 can be prevented from flowing into the condenser 7 side through the vapor passage 6, following to the boiled vapor. And, thus, heat dissipation by the condenser 7 can be favorably maintained, attaining a desired end. |
