Provided are a user terminal device and a control method thereof. The user terminal device comprises: a sensing unit sensing a user touch operation applied to a binarized text image; a control unit generating an indicator to indicate an area in which the user touch operation is sensed, when the user touch operation is sensed through the sensing unit; and a display unit displaying the binarized text image and the generated indicator. According to the present invention, a user may receive a vivid test image, as the user terminal device provides a text image frame with the lowest blurring level.
