PURPOSE:To save labor and increase productivity by trimming the end face of a formed product made by rotary ironing on a mandrel, and automating taking- out of products and waste materials. CONSTITUTION:The end face of a formed product 7 worked by rotary ironing using spinning rollers 9a, 9b is trimmed by a tool and separated into a product 7a and a waste material 7b. The product is then held by an extruding bar 6 and a tail stock bar 8 from both sides. The bars 6, 8 are moved to the right and the product 7a is extracted successively from a mandrel. To extract the waste material similarly at this time, a claw 14 is brought close to the mandrel 5 by action of a cylinder 15, and saddles 12a, 12b are moved to the right synchronously with the bars 6, 8 to push the end face of the waste material 7b by the claw 14. When the product 7a comes out from the mandrel 5, the waste material 7b also falls out. This is pressed by holding claws 17a, 17b. Then, the product 7a is held by a carrying claw 21, and the waste material 7b is held by a hook 19 being supported by a receiving stand. The product 7a and the waste material 7b are carried out after shifting of the bars 6, 8. |
