摘要 This detection is preferably effected on an object which is acquired by an optoelectronic sensor and the images of which, supplied by the image sensor, are digitised, addressed and processed as grey scale images of the object and, in particular, are stored in an image store. From each grey scale image of the object, a binary result image present in raster-shaped representation is generated in which each area with uniform coloration is described by its edge lines. The edge lines are coded into character strings, composed of symbols for the corners and digits for the number of pixels between the corners, each of which strings describes the contour of the segmented object in the binary result image. For each area, additional area-describing parameters are determined, the mutual interleaving of the different areas with uniform coloration being determined and represented as an image graph in such a manner that the nodes represent the areas and the connecting lines between the areas indicate how the areas are interleaved with one another. <IMAGE>
