PURPOSE:To generate various FM signals with low cost, high accuracy, high stability and high quality by using a memory in which data of a frequency pattern of a prescribed FM signal is stored. CONSTITUTION:Pre-emphasis processing is applied to data outputted from a memory 1 by a data processing circuit 8, added with output data of a system selection circuit 9 by an adder 10 and fed to an integration device 11. The phase data changed sequentially is fed to a data converter 13 from the integration device 11. The data converter 13 converts the phase data into a frequency shift data and fed to a D/A converter 2. The D/A converter 2 converts a frequency shift data into an analog signal of a prescribed frequency and the signal is transmitted to an output terminal 15 via a filter 14 having prescibed characteristics.
