PURPOSE:To prevent laser from infiltrating into the cell inside while laser-welding a coupling section and obtain a cell with high quality and high reliability by providing a lug or a recess on the inside of the opening section of a storage can and the outside of a cell cover. CONSTITUTION:A recess 11 is provided on the inside near the opening section of a cell storage can 2a, and a lug 12 is provided on the outside around the folded section of a cell cover 3b at the position coinciding with the recess 11 provided on the storage can 2a. According to this method, the position of the cell cover 3b against the storage can 2a is firmly fixed, and even if a slight gap is generated at a coupling section 10, laser is prevented from infiltrating into the cell during the laser-welding, thereby the breakage of cell component parts due to laser is eliminated. |
