PURPOSE:To stabilize the electrification quantity of a toner by fining the size of the surface crystal on a carrier. CONSTITUTION:An electrifier 8 for electrification, an optical system 9, a two- color developing device 10, an electrifier 11 for transfer, an electrifier 12 for stripping, a cleaner 13 and a destaticizing lamp 14 are successively disposed around a photosensitive drum 7. The image of an original is formed by the system 9 on the drum 7 to form an electrostatic latent image. The electrostatic latent image is developed by using the developer consisting of the toner and carrier in the device 10 and is thus visualized to a toner image. The surface crystal of the carrier in the developer to be used in this stage is made finer in the size. The carrier is constituted of, example, ferrite having the fine surface formed at 1,000-1,400 deg.C calcination temp. |
