PURPOSE:To provide a burner control device which has fail-safe device, by a method wherein a driving circuit, which drives a safety valve and a display lamp by means of an output signal from an ignition detecting circuit, and a safety valve which is actuated through manual operation, are provided, while the safety valve is forcibly pressed by hands to actuate the ignition detecting circuit, and when a self holding current flows, adsorption is effected by means of a magnet coil. CONSTITUTION:With a pilot burner ignited, an ignition circuit 6 is actuated, and by means of an output signal therefrom, a driving circuit 7 is actuated to drive a magnet coil 21 of a safety valve 2 and a luminous diode 8. Through driving of the driving circuit 7, a transistor 70 is connected in series to a thyristor 71, and when an input signal is changed-over to Hi, a current flows from a DC power source 4 to the magnet coil 21. The transistor 70 is turned ON and OFF by means of a base current from a resistor 72, and the thyristor 71 is triggered with the aid of a differentiating circuit of a capacitor 74 and a resistor 75. In order that the safety valve 2, latched to an ON-state, is self-held, the magnet coil 21 is charged with a current, and a cylinder is inserted into the interior to adsorb it by means of the magnet coil 21. |
