PURPOSE:To remove completely impurities on the surface and make sufficient treatment for preventing spoilage possible at the same time, by passing slender sea tangle pieces cut to a suitable length through seawater at about the boiling point, changing the sea tangle into green color, quenching the sea tangle with cold seawater, draining the sea tangle, and salting the sea tangle. CONSTITUTION:A raw sea tangle is washed and finely cut to strips having about 2-20mm. suitable width in the longitudinal direction, and further to about 24cm suitable length. The resultant slender sea tangle pieces are passed through seawater at about the boiling point, changed into green color, quenched with cold seawater, drained, and salted. Thus, the raw sea tangle is finely cut, heat- treated, quenched and salted to facilitate the complete removal of impurities on the surface thereof. The surface of the sea tangle is slender, and exposed fully to the seawater without wrapping the sea tangle surface even in heat treatment and quenching treatment. Therefore, sufficient treatment for preventing spoilage can be easily carried out. |
