<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 and R3 are lower alkyl; R2 is alkoxycarbonyl; R4-R6 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxyl, CF3, nitro or dialkylamino, provided that R4 and R5 together may form methylenedioxy). EXAMPLE:4-Ethoxycarbonyl-3,5-dimethyl-N-(alpha,alpha,alpha-trifluoro-o -tolyl)phthalimide. USE:A synthetic intermediate for 6-ethoxycarbonyl-5,7-dimethyl-[3-(4-phenethyl-1- piperazinyl)propyl]-3-(alpha,alpha,alpha-trifluoro-o-tolyl)-2,4(1H,3H) -quinazolinedione, etc. useful as a vasodilator, ameliorant of blood stream, hypotensive agent, etc. PREPARATION:A phthalic anhydride derivative expressed by formula II is reacted with an aniline derivative expressed by formula III in a solvent, prefeably acetic acid, etc. to give the aimed compound expressed by formula I.</p> |
